Three Sides connects psychodynamic reading with fictional case formulation, role-play and discussion. Instructors can organize a cohort around their own curriculum, while participants prepare privately and choose what to bring into the group.
Prepare a week around a clinical question
Select a passage from the psychodynamic guide, history collection or Library, or add an external paper, podcast episode or a PDF you have permission to share. A weekly plan connects those readings with a question, a fictional scenario and discussion. Participants can record a takeaway, reply to a thread and return to the reading when their understanding changes.
Rehearse and examine the exchange
A facilitator can prepare a scenario with a clinical focus and role instructions. Partners can pause a rehearsal to compare the therapist’s intention, the client actor’s experience and the observer’s account. The debrief makes room for feelings, possible defenses, alternative wording and another attempt.
The psychodynamic formulation and private reflection tools help participants examine relationship expectations, therapist reactions and uncertainty about mental states. These are educational working accounts. They do not score clinical competence or establish a diagnosis.
Organize a teaching program
An organization can manage cohorts, instructor and facilitator roles, invitations and allocated seats. Its welcome text, header logo, accent color and syllabus links can give participants a familiar setting. Platform owners can allocate a free pilot and issue access codes; configurable billing support allows a paid program to be connected later.
Participation reports summarize reading acknowledgments, shared contributions and practice activity. Personal journals and private drafts remain available through the app only to their authors. Optional group check-ins describe the learning relationship, with results shown only when enough people have responded.
Use the workspace alongside teaching and supervision
The educator supplies the curriculum, feedback and clinical judgment. Three Sides organizes preparation and fictional peer practice around those conversations. Use invented educational cases throughout; the application is not a health record and should not hold real patient information.
